The Zoo!

We went to the zoo on Saturday. It was a beautiful morning (sunny and like 50*) so we thought we would take advantage of it! Tori loves animals and Brooke loves to be outside (like Jason and I) so we ventured out! Tori loves giraffes, but this one was a little cold, but we made her sit on it anyway! She was shivering when she got off!

Tori was very concerned about the geese in this picture. She wanted to get down and play with them, but they freaked her out at the same time!

Like the lazy hyena, Brooke lounged around the whole hour and a half that we were there!

Tori was very excited to see the Zebra!

Tender picture of Tori running with Daddy and little Brooke observing.

This is Bob (what Tori calls all squirrels). He was stealing the food from these poor Cavies.

Cavies look like rabbit, kangaroo, deers. They are strange, but Tori thought they were pretty cool!

We couldn't get cool pictures of the penguins, but Tori loved them too. Last time the exhibit was closed, so it was cool to see them! This is a picture of her outside with the play penguins. It was cool to watch them inside, because they were being fed!

The snow leopard. Tori said Leopard ("epard") for the first time upon seeing this one!

The giraffe slide...

Tori loved this one too!

The lion!

Elephants...and the tiger...

and the sleepy little girl!

All about Tori

These are from the playground at the Elementary School! They look like a model/photo shoot! ha ha ha! Strike a pose!

This lovely xylophone is at our park. She loved playing this thing!

Swinging with Daddy

This is her first really big popsicle!
Tori is now 22 months old and is so much fun! I decided to write down all of the words that she knows and I was pleasantly surprised! I was quite afraid that she wasn't speaking all that much and compared to some other kids wasn't talking hardly at all! Lately she learns about 2 words a day and then uses them again and again (a few words she says and then doesn't use them again: baby, cookie, help). One word I am glad she hasn't learned MINE! :)

I know that was a long list, but I wanted to remember it! I would have loved to see what I was saying and doing at this age!

All about Brooke

I cannot believe that baby Brooke is 4 months old today! Hurray! She is sleeping through the night on a regular basis for about 10- 12 hours without a single interruption! (From 8-9 PM until 7-8 AM!) I know that I am luck and have the best sleeping little girls in the world! She loves to eat, play and sleep. She is getting really strong and can roll over pretty quickly. She has tummy time for about a total of a minute a day because right when I set her down on her stomach she rolls over to her back. She also likes to play on her side and tries with all of her might to see the TV and sometimes succeeds! She loves to play on her playmat, in her bouncy chair, on a blanket on the floor and soon we will introduce her to the Bounceroo! She is also strong enough now to stand up (obviously with support) and look at her surroundings. What makes her laugh: being tickled,Daddy, Tori, and sneezing! She is fun to heva around and I am really grateful that she is out of the new newborn phase!

So cute! I don't put bows in her hair too often because they seem to fall off her head a lot easier than they did Tori's! This one stayed in for the pictures and then fell off while she slept in the car!

Playing on the floor. I train my kids early to love koalas just like me! Brooke smiles big time when we get this little guy out to play!

Acrobatic TV watching! Smiling in the bouncy.

Notice the scary looking turtle in the background. She smiles and coos at this little turtle like it's a human! She loves it so much that it already has matted fur on it's little paws from sucking on it so much! Thanks Grandma Frann!

Chilling at the park with Tori.

On our way to the park. This is the first time that she wore jeans so I had to document it! She loves to be outside and look at everything as long as the sun is not in her eyes! We went to the park 3 times last week!!!

The Park and the Blue Dress

Another week has flown by for the Dinger Clan. Can you believe that Tori is 22 months old! She is going to be a 2 year old soon and by some of the temper tantrums she throws, you would think that she has already passed that milestone! Most of them are caused by over tiredness when I cannot seem to get dinner on the table before her bedtime at 7...needless to say it is fun to be Tori's mom!
Yesterday we enjoyed the good weather and went to the park! I wanted to take her to this Park that is amazing about a mile from our house, but the sidewalk ended and it was traffic time, so I wound back through the neighborhood and went to the elementary school. Tori is getting so much braver on the jungle gym. She still is a little scared of the fact that you can see through the equipment (see pictures below...), but she still has a ton of fun! She also loves the slide. It takes her about 2 minutes to let go, but when it is over she is all smiles. The only bummer about the school is that it doesn't have swings, but it does have a climbing wall which I am sure that my nephew Oscar is going to love!
Oh and I made some hair bows...check them out! If you want some, tell me and I will make them for you! So fun and not too complicated! I want to have a little garage sale sometime and sell all the cute things I can make for little kids.Well, that's it...oh and enjoy the pictures!!

The cutest picture of Tori...she is getting to be such a big girl, although this BYU jacket disagrees...it is a size 12 months!

Tori stood at the end of this bridge for 2 minutes trying to figure out how to cross...and then with a little bit of help from me she did it!

This is why she doesn't like the jungle gym...you can see through. Tori contemplating if she should let go. I can't wait til Oscar and Livy teach her how to conquer the jungle gym!

Oh...look at the concentration. Tongue out. Please ignore the snot and yogurt on her face! Ha!!

I call this gizmo the gauntlet. You can balance across it, but Tori likes to swing on it. This is how Brooke rolls at the park. This is Lora's old double stroller! LOVE hand me downs!

Silly pictures of Tori in her bed. We still haven't switched to a toddler bed. We have one, but we are too lazy to go out and get the bolts for it. So until then she still sleeps in her crib (which also turns into a toddler bed, but we don't know where the other parts are...lost in the move? who knows?)
Who's Who?! Brooke and Tori

It may be obvious by the hair bows (which I always glued to Tori's head) and the tights on little miss Brooke. Tori is 2 and 6. Brooke is 1, 3, 4 and 5.

Here are the bows! Cute huh?!
