High Heel, Castles, Popsicles and Snuggling

Well, the Dingers came to visit us for Jason's Birthday and New Years. Apparently we only got one picture of them while they were here. We were still struggling with the stomach flu, so I guess I wasn't so picture crazy! Tori's stomach flu wasn't really all that bad, it just made her extra cuddly. Do you LOVE the pictures of them all on the couch with their hands behind their head?! Tori is hilarious and always keeps her hands behind her head when she is watching TV. Thanks for the high heels Auntie Michelle. She loves to march around in them and I love the picture of her playing with her castle in her heels! Tori was obsessed with Grandma's book...so I had to catch a picture of her reading it. The small picture in the upper right side is of Tori stuck in her toy stroller. She sat in it and did up the seat belt then proceeded to run around the living room with it stuck to her butt and screaming, "I stuck, I stuck!" It was hilarious!

Brooke had her first popsicle while she had the stomach flu. She was sick for a whole week! YIKES! She loved the popsicle though and the two pictures of her in the green shirt are of her dancing and singing in her high chair. And the bottom left is of her on Sunday with Grandma's scarf on. What a CUTIE!

I love that when my munchkins are sick they get really cuddly. We basically stayed home and just let the stomach flu crash through our family. I was glad that mine only lasted a day! Alas when we thought we were finished for a while, Tori got croup. It is a really nasty cough and she lost her voice. The worst is at night and we had 2 really horrible nights, but last night she slept through the night and she is on the mend. I think I am done with sickness for a bit! We are praying that Brooke doesn't get it before we go to Oregon.

Which brings me to some sad news. My brother Seth passed away last Friday night. Both of my parents were with him and he passed peacefully, but he still went so fast. It was definitely shocking. I will really miss him. It just won't be the same without him. I am certainly glad that I have the gospel of Jesus Christ to help me through this hard time. I am also extremely grateful for loving friends and family who are praying for us. Thank you! It will be a tough transition for my parents, so please continue to pray for them. His Memorial service will be on Saturday, January 15th, at 11am at the Garden Home Building in Portland, OR. Click on the link and it will pull up a map on how to get there. He has touched so many lives and we would love for you to attend if you are near. Thank you again for all of your love and support!
