Bubbles

Here is our bathing beauty. We just introduced her to bubbles. As you can see she still has a bow in her hair...these pictures were taken pre glue removal...I use Elmers to stick her bows on. She wears the same bow until the next bath. It's non toxic and sticks...what can I say?

Can you cuddle like a koala?

Tori loves the book "Can you cuddle like a koala" and let's face it I love koalas. Well her Auntie Marie knew all about this and found a koala Halloween costume for Tori. The body doesn't fit (neither do the paws really), but that head piece is super cute! My baby is a cute koala! Thanks Auntie Marie! We are definitely going to get pictures done in this outfit!!!!!

Cutie Pie

Here is our little girl! She is 5 months old (well...in 3 days!). We can't believe it! She is getting bigger and is more fun everyday. It is fun to watch her grow! We love her so much. Here are some photos for those who have been waiting!

Isn't she just so cute!? Mom this is one of the little shirts that you got her during the summer...I just put a white t-shirt under it and added pants. The little shorts are retired now.

Sleeping beauty. I love how she is holding on tight to Giraffe, sleeping on her side, and crossing her little legs!

Playing on her little surfboard! It was tummy time until she rolled over. She is getting good at that!

Runny noses...coughs...but still smiling!

Tori and I have a cold. Sad day! It really is because I can't play with any of my friends and I just contacted Alla, Cass, and Jess to go and visit and I have to wait until we are all better to go and play. I feel like I have the plague, but I don't want any of their munchkins to get sick either! Well, until then I will be quarantined to my house! Well, we do take an occasional outing to Target and Walmart. That's probably where I got this cold in the first place!

Well, Tori is doing just fine. No fever, just snot and coughs. She does get to sleep in her bassinet again next to my bed so that I can help her during the night (she still sleeps well too!) She still laughs and plays, and as you can see, smiles! She is so good!!! The best baby!

This is Giraffe...her snuggly...she loves to sleep with it and I let her nap with it during the day. I am still a little leery letting her sleep with it at night, but I think they will be inseparable one day!

More Stats!

Sorry...this is a little late. On August 29th Tori weighed 12 pounds 6 ounces (25%) and is 24 inches (50%). She is now rolling over from her front to her back and scoots all over the floor on her back. She is getting better at tummy time and has a very strong neck! She loves it when I read stories to her and when we play in front of the mirror. She loves putting things in her mouth but gets frustrated when her hands don't coordinate well enough to keep things in her mouth. She now sleeps in her own room like a big girl and sleeps ok through the night. She still gets hungry, so I have to feed her at 4 or 5 in the morning...I don't like that so much! Her favorite things are: milk, naps, her giraffe blanket, her binky, a light & music turtle, car rides, her stroller, and a rain stick from Auntie Lora.

We just realized today that someone was missing from our blog, so we added our little angel Spencer. He is soooo cute and Tori looks so much like him. We sure miss him and can't wait until we get to raise him...well, maybe we can wait for 80 years or so...or until we are twinkled!

Giggles and sleeping in a crib!

Jason got Tori to gigglefor the first time. Lora got her to giggle the most while we were in San Francisco. We wish that we would have recorded that! She was soooo silly! Things that make her giggle: fake sneezes, cold wipes on her bum, peek-a-boo and tickles.

Tori loves playing in her new old toy! Hurray for free toys from Lora! The Jumperoo lives on.

What? I know...Jason has blue eyes and I have brown...where did they come from? I woke up the day after we got back from San Francisco and this is what I saw...green or maybe hazel eyes!

Did you think that it would ever end? Well, sadly a week ends way too quickly! I miss Lora again! I am now counting the days until she visits for her birthday! I wish that we lived closer and could go on walks together and play with our kids together, but we will have to settle for visits and phone calls. Good thing we have the same phone plan or we would be in bad shape with all the minutes we use on each other!

Miraculously enough we actually got to the city by train! It was a feat, but we did it with 2 strollers! Yikes! It was a beautiful day so we got great pictures!

Muir Woods

Sorry these are a little out of order, but bear with me I took like 250 pictures! Yikes! So we went to Muir woods after the Golden Gate Bridge. It was beautiful! The trees were amazing! This is what we saw .

As we were walking we saw this gigantic tree...Oscar immediately began to climb. We accidentally forgot the strollers and luckily they had three there! It was great. Tori loved all the trees and looked at all of the colors.

The pictures just don't do it justice. After these two pictures I stopped because they just didn't capture the beauty that I saw!
