Ohh...cute baby Tori

Well, I am slightly offended that no one has commented on Tori's adorableness in the last blog. I purposely left if up for a while so I would get comments...is it because I don't leave enough comments on your blogs? I promise I will do better...I will stop blog stalking and make comments on your posts too...as for family...we need to hook you up with blog accounts so you can comment!

Well, on to cute baby Tori...for one I need to stop calling her a baby...she looks like a little girl. Anyway, I had to talk about this picture because this is what Tori does when we say "Ohhh...cute baby Tori" She puts her head down on anything that is near her (the couch, the lovesac, your shoulder or knee) or tilts her head and sometimes actually says "ahhh" too! It is adorable. We have yet to capture the cuteness on video...she has a deep fascination with the camera!

She is totally into Cheerios and yogurt right now. She loves to try food that we are eating (rice, green beans, etc.). We even let her try a Red Robin fry yesterday. She was all over that! She also pretends to be on the phone. If she has her plastic cell phone near she puts it up to her ear and starts to mumble. If there is not a phone near she will hold anything up to her ear (her baby doll, a ball, her food), caulk her head and begin to babble! It is hilarious!
I know it takes a minute to comment, but I look 4 or 5 times a day to see if anyone has...I know, I know..I don't have a life, but I love to hear from you!

Our Weekend Adventures

We took Tori to the park this Saturday. It was a beautiful day with blue skies. Most everyone had our idea. She loved watching the ducks and the sea gulls. Then we went for a walk around the park and let Tori play in the grass! There were so many photo opportunities. So we will share a few. Oh and the pink dress is from Sunday (she got that dress for Christmas from Marie)...Tori looked adorable! Thanks Auntie Marie!

Bathing Buddies

Livy is Tori's bestie...she always smiles so big when Livy come to play. Kim (Livy's mom) and I decided that they are going to miss each other when she is done with her student teaching and when they move to Colorado! Anyway Livy decided that she wanted to take a bath with Tori this morning! It was pretty cute. You can see by the evidence!

Notice the bubbles in their hair...Tori loves bubbles!

Watch out the pictures are blurry! What do you expect! Two wet girls in a slippery tub! They were all over the place!

Snugly Livy. Man I love these towels. Auntie Michelle actually made these for Spencer, but Tori loves them, so they are hers now! Who says blue has to be boy? My favorite color is blue! Thanks Aunt Michelle! Can't wait to see you!

Snugly Tori
This is my attempt at Liv's hair. A rendition of "popcorn popping" (the song) and a rocking chair and you get two pigtails...not bad for a novice!
Well...I didn't attempt Tori's because I caught her with one of the rubber bands in her mouth after she had a nap. She had been waking up without rubber bands and I thought...'where did they go?' and then I found one in her mouth! No more pigtails without supervision! Ha ha!

Pebbles Flintstone watch out...here is something cuter! (this is the one with the flash...all the rest are with the light in her bedroom...none are really that great, but boy is she cute in her new doo!)

Notice that Daddy has the same style too...and my picture...could have been cuter if I had actually taken a shower that morning instead of the night before(I know..TMI, but my hair is nasty when I have to sleep on it wet...oh and don't blow it up either...it is really fuzzy!)

Being creative

My little daisy!

I try to take Tori's picture these days and she automatically tries to get the camera! No more sitting still! Oh dear. I had to get a picture of her in this outfit! She is too cute! Well, I decided to put her on the couch....

It started out with the "what are you doing mommy?" glare....

Then a smile...she saw the camera....

and then the attack...she was trying to get the camera.

It's all about the shoes! Lora says that Livy wore these when she was 3 months old! Ha ha ha! I love that she is fitting in shoes (PS they are a size 1!)

I just added the rest of these because I thought they were fun!

Tori's New Firsts and Favorites

First of all...I found Tori in her room on Thursday last week hanging loose in her crib! She totally pulled herself up. It was hilarious! I was in the living room with Alivia when I heard Tori talking to herself...she never does that when she naps. Well...she continued to babble and I decided to go take a peek...and I found her hanging on to the side of her crib. She pulled herself up! She was blabbing because she couldn't get down! Ha! That instant I decided to lower the crib...all by myself. Needless to say after a 1/2 hour Tori was back in her crib for a nap. YIKES!!! Good thing she decided to climb up the side and not the front!

Well...the funny thing is that Tori still hadn't started to crawl yet. She mastered the sitting up from her laying down position and crawl scooting and rolling all over the house, but she would get in crawling position and fall...well...Friday she started crawling too! Yikes!

This is her dress that she wore on Sunday...except I think that she is too tall for it, and she will now wear it as a shirt! She is in her crawling position because she crawled to me to get them camera. She loves the camera!

Well...I am excited that she is crawling but nervous because she is mobile. She isn't quite a pro (she moves about 5-10 paces and then stops), but she still get this "I am on a mission to get what you don't want me to have look" in her eye and then goes! It's amazing!

Do you see what I mean? What determination!

Well...some more firsts...she can drink out of a straw. She did this yesterday at Winger's. She ate some Kix and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (which she really stole from Liv) and loved it! (Sorry no pictures of that)

Favorites
Foods: Squash, bananas, green beans, kix, rice puffs and cinnamon toast crunch

Drinks: Juice of course! I think grape is her favorite!

Toys: Her baby, Raggedy Ann, books, stuffed animals and her new (but really used) front door thing...

She loves to crawl through and play with Liv.

Pastimes: Playing with Liv, crawling, reading, pulling up on things, standing, playing with Cami, playing with toys, listening to music and dancing (which is really bouncing...it is quite cute!), flying with Daddy (which is Jason holding her up in the air and she flaps her hands and flies), "walking" (which is holding on to my hands and walking around the house) and watching Sesame Street (well...kind of...she will watch maybe 3 minutes of the hour...I like the background noise and she loves the music).

I am raising a reader!
